Privacy Policy — VPROKSMM Companion extension

Who we are

VPROKSMM Companion is a browser extension for Google Chrome (and Chromium-compatible browsers) developed by the team behind the VP service (app.vproksmm.ru). The extension is free and intended exclusively for users who have a VP account.

What data the extension collects

The extension collects only session cookies from the social platforms you have explicitly chosen to connect to your VP account, namely:

• TenChat (tenchat.ru)
• VK (vk.com)
• Odnoklassniki (ok.ru)
• Dzen (dzen.ru)
• Setka (setka.ru)
• X / Twitter (x.com, twitter.com)
• Facebook^* (facebook.com)
• Instagram^* (instagram.com)
• vc.ru
• Habr (habr.com)

The extension does not collect: browsing history, page content, form inputs, messages, contacts, files, biometric data, geolocation, or data from any sites outside the list above.

Why this data is needed

Cookies are used only so that the VP service can publish your posts on your behalf to the connected social-network accounts. This is the single, primary purpose of the extension.

Without cookies the service cannot operate on your social accounts — this is a technical constraint, since most of these platforms have no public API for third-party content publication.

Where the data goes

Cookies are sent over HTTPS to api.vproksmm.ru and stored encrypted in our database. Cookies are scoped strictly to your VP account (multi-tenant isolation via PostgreSQL Row-Level Security).

We do not share cookies with third parties and do not use them for advertising.

How long data is retained

Cookies are kept for as long as you keep the corresponding channel connected in the service. After you:

• Disconnect the channel in VP settings, or
• Remove the extension from your browser, or
• Delete your VP account,

— the corresponding cookies are removed from our servers. Cookies also become invalid automatically when you log out of the social platform itself.

Permissions requested by the extension and why

• cookies — to read cookies of connected social networks and forward updated values to the service.
• tabs — to know which site is currently open so the popup can show which channel is available to connect.
• storage — for local caching of extension settings (UI language, last connected VP account).
• host_permissions for social-network sites — to read cookies for those specific domains. The extension only operates on the domains listed in the manifest.
• host_permissions for app.vproksmm.ru / api.vproksmm.ru — so the extension can talk to your service account.

What the extension does NOT do

• Does not modify or publish content on your behalf without your knowledge.
• Does not send data anywhere except api.vproksmm.ru.
• Does not download or execute remote code.
• Does not show ads.
• Does not include analytics trackers (Google Analytics, etc.).

How to remove your data

1. Open VP dashboard → Settings → Channels.
2. Click "Disconnect" next to each channel you want to remove. Its cookies are erased from our servers within seconds.
3. To delete your entire VP account (and all stored cookies with it), email hello@vproksmm.ru.

Children

The service is not intended for users under the age of 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If changes materially expand the scope of collected data, we will notify you by email.
